EMBRACE THE JOURNEY.
Compassionate support rooted in community.
Our
Story
Get to Know Us
Founded by members of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Castle Hills, our ministry grew out of a heartfelt desire to respond to the real and growing needs of caregivers in our neighborhood. With the support of trained volunteers and community partners, the program provides a safe, joyful space for participants to enjoy meaningful activities and for caregivers to receive a much-needed pause.

Our Mission
Journey Respite Care exists to serve individuals living with early to mid-stage dementia by offering structured, engaging daytime care- while also providing rest, encouragement, and connection for their caregivers. Grounded in the values of Covenant Presbyterian Church, our ministry seeks to uphold the dignity of every person and foster belonging through compassionate care and community connection.
What Makes Us Unique
Journey Respite Care is led by a program director and supported by a team of trained volunteers who provide day-to-day assistance. This volunteer-based model, guided by compassionate leadership, allows Respite to maintain a high-quality program while keeping costs accessible for families. Our community-centered approach reflects a deep commitment to service, dignity, and relational care.
